Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge has insisted that Union Home Minister Amit Shah should resign for the attack on students who took part in the NEET protest.
Regarding this, Kharge said on his X page, "Prime Minister Modi, 10 days ago, your government (BJP) attacked the youth with baton charges and pellet guns.
After the students withdrew their protest on the condition that no action should be taken against them, you are now registering FIRs against them out of a sense of revenge.
You are forcibly detaining them. You are disabling young people’s social media accounts. You are leaking women’s personal information.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has not even set foot in Parliament. He is afraid to answer for his actions. Tell Amit Shah to resign," he said.
